Listener: Holy Spirit awakened me in the Fourth Watch as I was dreaming…a dream which I knew was from Him. I was in a group of people who were unwrapping gifts, and Holy Spirit spoke: Sometimes when those who are called finally unwrap the gift of their calling, the condition of the wrapping will indicate that the gift was given years ago and never opened…never accepted. When this is the case, they must not grieve over the fact that the gift was left unopened for so long but rather rejoice that it has been opened at last and resolve to fully receive and accept it. Listener: In my dream the Holy Spirit said something about the calls or certain aspects of the calls being a mandate…but I did not understand what He meant. Then I realized that all of those in the group, including me, were soldiers and the gifts which were being opened were our orders. Some of those who saw that their orders had been sent years earlier began to weep over the wasted years. Someone was walking among them, comforting them and telling them that they could make up for the lost years by their dedication and devotion to answering the call now that it had finally been received. Then I awakened and heard Holy Spirit calling out to me: Listener, tell those who have calls sent years ago to check to see if there is an expiration date. They will not find one… this is why I used the word “mandate” earlier…once issued, a call is irrevocable. Also tell them that I have promised to restore the years that the locust has eaten. I will bless with a double portion of yielding those who left the gift of their call unanswered for years so that now they may answer with all their hearts…with total commitment. I will enable them to complete the mission which has been assigned to them. Tell those to whom you write that to be called to allow Me to work through you is a great blessing. It is a gift to be received and cherished. When you answer your call you will be equipped, enabled and empowered to carry out your mission. You will begin to receive ever greater Light and Understanding…greater appreciation of My ways and My desires. My desires will become your desires. When the hunger that you never identified as hunger begins to be satisfied, it will increase your appetite for More. You will experience Shalom. And then, almost as an afterthought, He added, Listener, remember the little book that you purchased months ago but have not yet read…your special gift today is this reminder and a suggestion that you read the book and share any insights received from it. The title of the book is Shalom: The Peace that Comes From Being Whole.
