Listener: Holy Spirit gave me a Psalm for Daily Bread several weeks ago, instructing me to ask you to sing verses seven through ten. He reminded me that the Psalms were written to be sung… to praise and worship God. He also reminded me of the passage in Psalm 37:3-7 which He gave me many years ago. This page in the Bible which I used at the beginning of my walk with the Lord is tattered and worn and has come loose from the binding because I turned there so frequently. Holy Spirit also led me to sing verse 3: Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. For more than forty years I have continued to sing this verse. God has fulfilled these promises many times and in many ways in both the physical and the spiritual realm. It is a very special verse to claim in song, and the fulfillment is a great blessing, but this is not the Psalm I was told to bring to you today. Today’s message was not posted when the Holy Spirit gave it to me because He gave me another, more urgent message to post and told me to hold this one until He released it. He has done this several times recently, giving me a revelation or message which I have assumed was for Daily Bread and then telling me to hide it in my heart until He releases it. Sometimes, as He has done today, He releases a previous message which had not been posted; sometimes He gives me another message, and sometimes there is simply no Daily Bread for that day. So, today we are blessed with Psalm 24…which we are instructed to hold in our hearts…not to hide but to hold in our hearts. The verses to be sung are verses seven through ten. Psalm 24 The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein. 2 For He has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. 3 Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? 4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him, who seek Your face. Selah. 7Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah
