Listener: This morning I was too weak, my heart too heavy, the fog too dense to allow me to reach the top of the Mountain. I asked Holy Spirit for help, and He told me not to waste today’s experience, that He would use it to help me to understand the difficulties that many of you encounter when you so desperately want to hear His Voice. He also reminded me of Psalm 30:5 For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. Now it is morning…the Fifth Watch, and I have found no joy. He reminded me of Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. I believe that …I stand on that…I wait for that “good.” (Note: I wrote that I had found no joy earlier today, but on the way to the Window to make this post in Daily Bread, Holy Spirit sent me wonderful words of encouragement which give me hope that I will soon see “the good”). Then Holy Spirit told me to use for Daily Bread the three verses that He gave me weeks ago one morning when I had suffered an enemy attack on the way up the Mountain, fought off the attack in His strength, but wondered afterward what I would do if the time ever came when I was unable to receive Daily Bread for you. He said: If that time ever comes, post these three verses:

Psalm 19:14: Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer.
Psalm 23:1-4: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake. Yea, thought I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me.
Romans 12:2: And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.  Shalom.
