Listener: Today’s Daily Bread is addressed primarily to the Listener, but it is intended for you as well, so that you may gain understanding as to how the messages which you read here are received, as well as inspiration and encouragement. Holy Spirit speaks: Be quiet before Me, seek My Presence with a quiet heart… to come to the mountain is to enter into Peace. The mountain is where you leave, for a time, the things of the world and enter My Presence…leaving behind the distractions of the world, responsibilities, tasks, schedules, time. Where you breathe the sweet, pure, spiritual essence of My Presence, far removed from everything in this world. The mountain is where I can speak to you; where I can open to you, for a brief moment, a window into heaven. I show you as much as you can bear to see. You shall receive the capacity to see more and more, and you will be enabled to reveal it to those to whom you write as they grow spiritually and are able to bear more, to see more of My Light. You come into My Presence with praise and thanksgiving. This is one reason why I speak to you so frequently when you have communion each morning. You always begin with praise and thanksgiving then and that brings you into My Presence. There are many “great and wonderful things” which I have yet to reveal to you. You believe that you wait on the mountain for Me to speak, but actually I wait upon the mountain for you to be able to receive what I have to say. What you receive is limited not only by what you can bear but also by what those to whom you write can receive. You are not a repository where My words are stored; you are a conduit through whom My words flow. I long to give you more. Pray that you and those who read the words that I give you will allow Me to open your minds and your hearts to what I have prepared for you. Shalom. At this point Listener spoke: Lord, I am not ready to leave the mountain. My heart yearns for more. His response was: When the time is right, I will give you more. Tell those to whom you write that there is room at the top of this mountain for many more, and they will be welcomed when they are ready to hear rather than to read My words.
