Tabula Rasa

September 7, 2019

Confession of the Listener: Yesterday I did not post the words that the Holy Spirit gave me. I thought that they were written not on the Tabula Rasa (the clean slate), but were at least partly the result of a teaching that I heard the night before. So I substituted words that Holy Spirit had given me for the Bible Study class several months ago. This morning when He awakened me to go to the Mountain, I knelt for some time with no revelation. I made an effort to come with a quiet heart and asked Him to speak, but still heard no words from Him. Finally, as I continued to tarry, He spoke. I gave you a word yesterday, and you did not post it. Then He reminded me of His words to Moses in Exodus 25:40 regarding His instructions for the building of the Tabernacle and its furnishings, telling them see to it that you make them according to the pattern that was shown to you on the mountain. Listener: I knew that He meant that I am not to withhold or to edit the words that He gives for you. This confession is included in the post because He has instructed me to not only give you the words that He speaks but also to let you in to the conversational relationship with which He has blessed me … so that you may come to earnestly desire this kind of relationship, a relationship for which He yearns also. As for the post that He gave me yesterday, He has instructed me to hold it until He provides greater revelation. I believe that because Holy Spirit knew that I would not make that post yesterday, He used that as an opportunity to give you insight regarding how you are receiving these messages and to remind me to give to you exactly what He gives to me for you.
