Holy Spirit You keep light bulbs on hand so that when one burns out you can replace it and you will not be in darkness. This is in the physical realm. In the spiritual realm, when you do not experience the Light of My Presence, you must renew your contact with the Light Source. There are several ways to do this; two of the simplest are prayer and the Word of God. When you combine the two, when you open your Bible and ask Me to open your heart and mind to the Scripture, the Light will shine ever brighter. Listener: This message came on the Mountain this morning, but another, more personal message came later as I prayed before communion. Remember, revelations which come before communion are intended for you. After praise, I was thanking God for the many ways that He has blessed me, and I said “Lord, I know that I am but a speck in Your vast universe.” His response, in tones of deep tenderness, was Yes, but you are My speck. I hope that means as much to you as it did to me. I looked up the exact definition of the word “speck.” The definition which applies here is “a bit, a particle.” Somehow, the fact that I am only a tiny particle in His vast universe yet am special to Him does not diminish my existence but rather enhances my appreciation of the Awesome God that He is.
